Title:  Digital Innovation Developer (Senior Associate) - Data Analytics - Financial Advisory - Hong Kong

About the Business

Financial Advisory (FA) practice of Deloitte China provides strategic and financial advisory services to clients throughout all phases of the economic cycle. FA comprises several distinct but related global service lines whose shared principal objective is the creation and enhancement of shareholder and stakeholder value.

We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our Data Analytics team. You will be using technology to solve complex client issues. Issues can range from enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness of a process, and to driving business insights through data analysis, in an agile approach.

Work you'll do

• Work closely with clients and other project stakeholders to understand and develop their requirements to solve complex problems experienced in businesses
• Hands-on development and delivery activities across RPA, Machine Learning and other AI based solutions for clients
• Work with multi-disciplinary team in product design and development
• Support and maintain existing platforms and web applications
• Conduct and/or participate in early testing and quality assurance to validate prototypes and uplift standards
• Manipulation of data sets to understand their meaning and recreation of database systems to assist in providing business insights to clients
• Complex analysis of data using established Deloitte methodology
• Undertake quality control measures to ensure consistent and accurate work practices
• Build intuitive charts and graphs to tell better stories with data using innovative visualization tool
• Provision of reports and running sheets outlining work practices

We are looking for someone with:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering, IT Degree or similar
• Proficient with at least one programming language
• Ability to see a problem and break it down to its logical components
• Able to demonstrate a strong and enthusiastic work ethic
• Able to demonstrate enthusiasm for learning about and working with new and emerging technologies
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua is mandatory

Desired Attributes:

• Have strong interests in new technologies (e.g., AI, Blockchain, Cloud, Big Data and RPA)Proficient with database design/analysis and/or procedure programming
• Have understanding of data warehousing, data integration and ETL processes
• Experience in technology stacks and frameworks require to create web or mobile applications will be advantageous (e.g., NodeJS, ASP.Net, PHP, HTML5, CSS and Javascript)
• Experience in RPA technologies will be advantageous (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere and Blue Prism)
• Experience in data visualization tools will be advantageous (e.g., Tableau, Qlik and Power BI)
• Experience with Python, R Language or SAS will be advantageous
