Title:  Manager / Associate Director (Cloud Platform) - Cyber - Hong Kong

About the Business

Risk Advisory objective is to help clients develop and implement strategies for IT risk management and aim to help clients find the appropriate balance between risk management and cost containment. The Cyber Cloud team is to enable clients by building various Cyber Cloud solutions, to achieve clients' business outcomes, overcome security and compliance barriers and enable a rapid shift to cloud. Using Deloitte global knowledge and enabling clients with the Cyber Cloud team to place design principles of automation, orchestration, privacy and data security front and center of cloud migrations.

Work you'll do

This is a critical role in the solution implementation lifecycle cutting across all phases. The ideal candidate should have a deep technical background and possess a strong interest in application/services, to help our clients develop technical expertise and capacity. You will collaborate with cloud service providers and client teams to deliver proof-of-concept projects, conduct workshops, and lead implementation projects. These engagements will focus on key client solutions such as building secure landing zone, cloud migration on server, database/data, web application and enterprise application, DevSecOps, networking, archiving and disaster recovery.

You will work towards client business outcomes, ensuring there is a strong connection between delivery activities and business objectives. You will own and complete key tasks and deliverables, and collaborate with others to define and implement optimal, complete solutions based on stakeholders needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design and implementation of reliable, scalable, robust and extensible big data systems that support core products and business.
• Establish solid design and best engineering practice for engineers as well as non-technical people.
• Oversee the deployment automation to provide a fully functional cloud stack in Azure that supports the Clients environment.
• Oversee the building, migration and testing of cloud environments and integrations.
• Setup multi-level network environments using Azure, AWS, GCP, Alibaba, etc.
• Design end-to-end application and data security.
• Manage the integration on-premise applications, cloud providers or other platforms.
• Oversee the development templates or scripts to automate everyday developer or operations functions.
• Monitor and maintain multiple Cloud DevOps environments based on client requirements.
• Lead program optimization to work within constructs of a cloud-based environment (e.g. Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, Alibaba, etc.).
• Perform business requirement studies, evaluate technology options to address business needs, and improve operation efficiency.
• Work with multi-level of our clients from C-level executives, senior and management staff to the on-the-ground professionals.
• Review and analyse client's IT environment from infrastructure and databases to applications.
• Review and analyse client's existing workflow and business processes.
• Professionally advice and work with client's IT team to design best-of-breed solutions to our clients.
• Work closely with your team leaders and members on project delivery, which includes, but not restricted to, research, analysis, advice and implementation.

• Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree, in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
• 4-7 years experience in DevOps and data engineering.
• Experience with the Big Data Technologies (i.e., Hadoop, Apache Spark).
• Experience in MongoDB and Azure Databricks.
• Experience with schema design, data modeling and SQL queries.
• Passionate and self-motivated about technologies in the Big Data area.
• Strong data and logical analysis skills.
• Experience with DevOps implementations.
• Experience in direct contract negotiation and risk management experience specific to technology managed services including cloud infrastructure.
• Experience in consulting sales and delivery experience specific to technology services including material experience with Cloud services; experience through full contract lifecycle including proposal response, complex IT services, SOW construction, negotiation and ongoing risk management and contract change during engagement delivery.
• Experience in working directly with senior level executives.
• Experience in direct client-facing experience related to commercial contracting in multiple industries.
• Experiencing in mentoring and guiding junior-level team resources.
