Deloitte's high-performing and collaborative Finance & Performance team offers CFOs advice to enable and optimise our clients' finance strategies, ensuring that they are aligned with the organisation's long-term goals. The team delivers industry- leading knowledge and experience to manage complexities and provide insights to drive profitability and growth by:
- Identifying, defining and implementing strategic choices for changing or improving the direction of Finance
- Supporting and leading clients along their finance transformation journey from designing the change required, to delivering and managing that change and providing assurance around change initiatives
- Designing modernized operating models with the necessary foundational processes to allow businesses to focus on their strategic competencies and thrive
- Serving CFO’s and their staff by improving finance business partnering & process transformation, FP&A, Enterprise Performance Management (in particular planning, budgeting and forecasting), Enterprise Resource Planing and costing & profitability through implementing associated technologies and asset based solutions
- Focusing on the efficiency and effectiveness of finance operations such as Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Record to Report
- Helping our clients apply advanced data science to derive high impact insights from their data to drive top and bottom line growth
- Supporting CFOs respond to regulatory change in the Financial Services industry
Work you'll do
- Counsel CFOs and finance executives to support enterprise-wide decision-making, improve finance operations, and strengthen stakeholder management
- Help position the finance function as a strategic business partner using innovative techniques to create value
- Lead finance transformation projects and provide strategic direction across the account to deliver a superior client experience
- Advise the client to make decisions that positively impact return on investment; provides subject matter expertise on sector trends and leading practices
- Make decisions with confidence based on analysis of available information to drive business success
- Generate innovative ideas and turn them into profitable business opportunities for our clients and Deloitte
- Leverage financial information and business cases to build support for a solution
- Project confidence, establish credibility with and influence clients at all levels
- Sell potential and current clients on Deloitte’s services and negotiate profitable transactions for Deloitte
- Adopt a global approach to networking, building eminence and assembling teams to best serve clients
- Articulate an informed opinion on leading edge technologies and how they affect emerging business models in domain area

- Bachelor degree or above in finance, accounting, financial engineering, management, related disciplines
- 6 to 10+ years of experience in global consulting firm with a focus on the Finance Transformation with knowledge of:
- Enterprise Resource Planning and/or Enterprise Performance Management implementation;
- Shared Service Center / Global Business Services;
- Finance target operating models; and/or
- Operational finance processes
- Solid project management and delivery experience in the Financial Services industry; having successfully managed or led complex, multi-function/multi-stakeholder projects in a large corporate environment
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with high commitment to quality client service
- Strong track-record in effectively developing market credibility in a timely manner
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to motivate and lead a team with enthusiasm, drive and effectiveness
- Outgoing character. Strong sense in business development is required. Proven track record in business development activities is a definite advantage
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, fluency in Mandarin is preferred
