To enable our clients in establishing world-class finance functions, we adopt a cross-disciplinary approach to provide insight on how to better design finance organizations, processes, data and systems with leading practices and digital technology, as well as facilitate our clients in managing capital market transactions, such as getting ready for IPO, carving out business units for spin-off, integrating finance functions after a merger, etc.

Work you'll do

• Provide insights and advice on Sustainable / Climate Finance and Responsible/ESG Investing for financial institutions and large corporations
• Lead in performing climate-related risk assessments, scenario analysis and stress tests for clients
• Provide advice on sustainable finance strategy and policies
• Provide advice on ESG investing and developing sustainable financial products
• Provide assurance services related to sustainable finance
• Manage communication with clients and liaison with internal cross-functional teams 
• Project management from engagement to delivery, including resources planning & management, quality control of project delivery, etc.
• Support in new products and services development
• Support in business development efforts e.g. understand clients' needs, prepare proposals and presentations
• Deliver outputs and presentations to clients

We are looking for someone with

• Bachelor degree holder in science, engineering, economics, accounting, environment, or other relevant discipline
• Preferably relevant masters or other further degree holder
• Preferably solid working experience in consulting or banking or financial institutions
• More than 5 years of experience in risk and sustainability consulting, including but not limited to: risk management, internal control, climate change, carbon management, environmental and social risk, sustainable finance, responsible investment, sustainability strategy, and reporting readiness
• Strong knowledge in local and international regulations, principles and best market practices in sustainable finance
• Strong knowledge in risk modelling or quantitative climate risk analysis is also preferred
• With experience in carbon trading / quantitative risk assessments / stress tests would be preferable
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with high commitment to providing quality client service
• Ability to direct own work and take initiative
• Leadership and people management skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and work in a time critical environment
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese
