About the Business

The development team in Learning & Development National is responsible for developing and delivering the leadership development and shared competencies curriculum and talent development. The manager supports the curriculum-in-charge and works with a small team, he/she is expected to:
Work you'll do
- Identify the appropriate instructional design strategy for projects incorporating innovative ideas and approaches
- Implement the proposed instructional design strategy through the design and content development
- Demonstrate strong experience in a range of learning delivery methods and blended learning approaches including facilitator-led workshops, eLearning, webinars, interactive tools / game and coaching / mentoring sessions
- Demonstrate strong experience in talent development, focusing on career and succession development
- Carry out learning needs analysis to identify content for partner, manager and staff curriculum
- Design framework and develop architecture for learning programs
- Manage vendor relationships including identification of appropriate vendors (including learning consultants, international and Chinese universities, executive coaches, etc.) andwork with vendors to develop Deloitte China specific learning content
- Develop and/or review learning materials, monitor the design, development and deployment process, and design delivery strategies
- Deliver learning programs in bilingual language (English and Mandarin)
- Design measurement mechanism to evaluate effectiveness and measure success of learning
- Prepare effective communication plan to build awareness, create learner excitement, and increase level of commitment
- Manage his/her time across multiple projects to ensure teams are adequately supported
- Manage learning budget for responsible projects
- Take up coach role to perform coaching for team members
- Take up business advisory role to support the design and deployment of Business Unit technical curriculum

- We are looking for someone with:
- Bachelor degree in Business Management, training and development or related field
- More than 8 years of experience in designing and implementing instructional design strategies and learning models and content development, delivering learning programs, preferably in sizable professional services firms or MNCs
- Passionate in learning and development
- Good facilitation skills and have facilitation experience
- Creative and open-minded, open to try new things
- Willing to travel
- Good PowerPoint, Word, Excel skills, preferably with digital tool skills
- Excellent communication skills, both writing (English and Chinese) and verbal (English and Mandarin)
- Confident to interact with partners and senior leaders
- Have good people skills to build trusted relationship with stakeholders across functions and regions.
- Good team player, comfortable to work with virtual teams and willing to participate in conference calls outside of normal working hours
- A self-starter, multi-tasker and able to work independently
- Strong project management skills, organized and have good attention to details
- Good research skills and be able to transfer the research knowledge to projects
